Naya Griles, Upperclassman Representative
Naya Griles is a Junior Vocal Performance and Music Education double major at Ithaca College. This is Naya's first year on the ACDA E-Board and she is more than excited to serve as this year's upperclassmen representative.
Naya studies under Dr. Marc Webster and is in the Ithaca College Choir under the direction of Dr. Sean Linfors. She is a member of the Dorothy Cotton Jubilee Singers under the direction of Dr. Baruch Whitehead. She is also on the board of the Students of Color Coalition and acts as the music school representative.
Straight from Manhattan, NY, she has experienced singing music from a variety of different genres and cultures. She went to Fiorello H. LaGuardia and was a vocal major. She was also apart of the Young People's Chorus of New York City for 10 years. Naya is devoted to diversifying the classroom in every aspect and having more difficult conversations to better the environment around her and for all her students.
